I did what you did and it broke a little plastic piece off, but then it did come apart. Just a stupid way to put a blade on and off. I will put bosch back on instead of Goodyear blades,,,,,

Usually the lighter colored wire is neutral. Many times it's a green wire with a white stripe while the brown is the ground.

I know this video is old but I have not found anything more recent. To those of you out there that still have rattles after doing all that is shown in this video, I will tell you what worked for me. The rattle sounded like it was coming from dash board, door frame, speakers or roof. It sounded like a loose bold on the passenger side and buzzing noise from the driver side. We accidentally saw a shadow of a vibration when driving on the side mirror. The noise was coming from the weather stripping on the roof of the car. I called the dealer and they said it was purely cosmetic and served no purpose. We simply trimmed the rubber that was separating from the main molding. It fixed the problem. I lived with it for more than a year and was ready to sell the car. Hope this helps.

There was a Japanese car accessories store in the Puente Hills Mall in the early 2000’s. I use to buy these all the time from there. I wish I could still find them.

So I am able push the buzzer assembly up to have it hanging now how do I get the wire part unhooked from the buzzer assembly?

These are NOT Phillips, these are JIS screws, that is the very reason (using the Phillips bit instead of JIS) people strip them out.

I watched your vid for the coupe, but the 17 sedan does not have the same clip design. It might be that the clip has to be sacrificed. The mirror with backing fell off honda accord 2008. There are 2 balls and a whole which might have had a ball holding it in place not sure

My Honda 2017 Accord Hybrid doesn't have the same check bolt location as yours. I have no idea where it is. Can I just measure the exact amount of transmission fluid taken out and putting back that same amount for the new fluid?

Most people don’t know, those screws are actually JIS (not Phillips), assuming it’s an Asian car. The bits that are included with almost all manual impacts are also JIS.

I just performed this repair on my 2016 Accord, and I lost the right hand c-clamp when I was reassembling. Is there enough space in the housing that I should worry about the rod dislodging and the mechanism breaking?
